Must Have Deals and Books

I've found a few sites where I go to look up baby buying deals so I thought I'd share and was hoping you could share yours as well.

So far my go to sites are (names are clickable):

bTrendie(it's by invitation only so let me know your email and I can invite you in)
Mamabargains.com
Baby Cheapskate
Amazon - Daily Baby Deals

Also, we have the following books, are there any other must haves?
- Happiest Baby on the Block
- Baby 411
- The No-Cry Sleep Solution: Gentle Ways to Help Your Baby Sleep Through the Night
- The American Academy of Pediatrics New Mother's Guide to Breastfeeding

Those are all the books I've heard of.

I'd love an invite to bTrendie - twohotmamas at gmail.

Also take note of babysteals, and kids woot. Like mamabargains, but only one deal per day, instead of changing whenever it's sold out.

I would like a bTrendie invitation as well!

All the other sites I'm scoping out!

Thanks for sharing.

This isn't a "deals" website, per se, but when I do comparison shopping on a large purchase, diapers.com has the lowest price more often than not, often even lower than amazon which surprises me.

We couldn't make it through a week without the big Sears' Baby Book. I've given 3 copies as baby gifts since Elliot was born. I truly can not endorse it strongly enough.

I'll email you for an invite to bTrendie. :-)

Great suggestions!

I've found good things at http://kids.woot.com/

It's just one item each day, but sometimes you can get a great deal.

I have What to Expect the First Year and one about Week-by-week for the first year (can't remember the exact title). I still use both to look stuff up.

I think you have it well covered. The rest is all about real life!

You're lucky to have good deal websites like that. I haven't clicked on the links because I've already exhausted my patience when it comes to finding good deals online that ship to Canada!!!!! ugh.

I continue to be amazed at how organized you are. Before being pregnant I had a lot of great ideas - now I'm just lazy. lol

My friend and I were recently talking about how involved with technology our daily lives have become. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as memory becomes cheaper, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about all the time.
