I have book club on Tuesday. This month we are reading the Red Tent. Does anyone have any recommendations that I could suggest for next month?

A person of interest by Susan Choi is a great book. I could not put it down.
Ineke
Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver
Pillars of the Earth by Kenneth Follett....long but very good.
Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
One Thousand Splendid Suns by K. Hosseini
I second the list by E & M.
We are reading "A Fine Balance" this month, which is one of my favorite books. I also liked "Water for Elephants" and "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" (though it is pregnancy-related.)
Happy reading.
We just read The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver. It was good.
Also recommended is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. Don't remember the author, but I'm sure it's the only book by that name.
Happy reading.

I recently read The Birth House by Ami McKay
All The Numbers by Judy Larsen
Astrid & Veronika by Linda Olsson
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. It's a totally awesome book.
