I'm so not feeling anything this cycle. I forgot to turn on my fertility monitor until a few days into this cycle, realized I didn't have any OPKs and had to rush out and buy them and I didn't even pick up my clomid prescription until the last possible minute.
I'm hoping that I get that exciting feeling back again, maybe the closer we get to next week it will.

I know that feeling. Luckily, I don't think enthusiasm is a pre-requisite for pregnancy!
I'm not surprised you feel that way--it is hard to muster a consistent level of enthusiasm for this whole process--since it is much more of a marathon than a sprint. I hope when you get closer to IUI date, you'll start to feel more engaged!
Don't be too hard on yourself. It's tough going cycle after cycle. Give yourself permission for a break if you want. But I'm with vee, you don't have to be super excited in order to get knocked up! Crossing fingers for this cycle!
Uh oh--you might be one of those people that gives merit to the "just stop thinking so much about it, and it'll happen" statements we all hate so much! LOL--i hope that's the case!
I totally felt that way this cycle, it just took a little longer to get excited about things. This process is sooooo emotional. Just take good care of yourself!
I know it is hard to keep the momentum going. It is such a crazy roller coaster ride or, as I like to call it--a crazy jaunt on the hampster wheel.
Allow yourself to feel the ups and downs. Take it easy. Be good to each other. And good luck!
I didn't get pregnant until the excitement was totally beaten out of me, so perhaps you're almost there! Good luck.
It will happen guys - keep your chins (not "double chins", but 'chins' as in AMY and MELISSA....) okay, that was confusing and took awhile to explain!!! Anyway, you've got tons of people routing for you!!! You will get that excited feeling back. Just think of what an amazing experience this all is really!! You guys are making a baby!!!!! You'll remember these times for the rest of your lives! Good luck girls!
Good luck, Mel! We're sending good thoughts your way as we stroll the streets of Italy. Wish you two were here...Tell the girls I said hi!
Best of luck to you ladies!!!
I think everyone who has been through TTCing knows that feeling. Hope you two are doing well this week.
As Holly said, we all understand *hugs*
I have tagged you...see my blog. :) Hoping to distract you with something random.
