Went to the RE this morning. No cysts so Try #8 is good to go. Starting on 100mg clomid again today with follicle scan next Wednesday. Looks likely that the next insemination will happen on my birthday! How fun is that?!?

I've been reading for a while and wish you two all the best. That said- I think your 24mm was perfectly sized for CD13 but too large to be two days out from the IUI. I fear it was simply post mature by then. It seems like you're responding perfectly to the 100 clomid but maybe the doc is waiting too long to trigger you. We usually aim for an 18-20 by CD11 and trigger that night (O 36 hours later.) Maybe you could talk to your doc about it? I hope all your dreams come true.
A birthday insem? Definitely fun. Wearing a birthday hat? Extra fun. Having your partner in crime decorate the entire office with streamers and silly string during your 20 minute lay down in the exam room? Whoa. I'm not sure any of us could handle that kind of fun!

Hi cycle-twin! Clomid, here we come. Can you tell me what sort of monitoring you're doing this cycle so I'll know what is reasonable to demand of my RE? How often, and what all are they looking at (follies, lining, anything else?)? I'll be sure to ask my RE about triggering, too, since maybe we went past maturity by combining "natural" ovulation with clomid. Good luck! I hope this is the birthday you'll remember most happily forever!!
